By combining joint accessories, HAYA-WAZA Sunmento, with our original Sunmento molding, it will display fascinating accent lines while eliminating troublesome work and joint treatment for quick finishing. By using external/internal corner parts, for corners that would require high level of skill to install by using only molding parts, the installation would be made simple.

HAYA-WAZA Sunmento <Cover Type>

Fascinating rhythmical indents without visible joints.

The “Cover Type” in the HAYA-WAZA Sunmento line covers and hides the joints of the Sunmento molding while displaying the same profile. The rhythmical indents created by the external and internal corners as well as the middle section creates fascinating accent lines and eliminates troublesome onsite work and joint treatment for a quick installation.

Hawa-Waza Sunmento <Cover Type> Features & How it works

External and internal corner and joint parts have an inserting slot on the backside for the molding pieces to fit into.
Therefore, the wooden molding pieces do not have to fit exactly from wall to wall but only needs to be within the range of the inserting slot.
Once covered by external and internal corner and joint parts, the molding pieces will fit cleanly.

Effects of Cover Type Products

Even if the molding pieces contract due to changes in temperature and humidity, the corner pieces will cover over it.
Gaps will not be visible on the surface so the decoration would be properly maintained for years.
The corner and joint pieces will accent the room.

Instructions on applying adhesive material and nailing is omitted. (In actual installation, application of adhesive and nailing is necessary)

Hawa-Waza Sunmento <Butt Joint Type>

This type will quickly sharpen up the corner.

By combining with Sunmento molding pieces with matching profile, the corner will look sharp. This product will eliminate troublesome onsite work on external/internal corners for a quick and beautiful installation, greatly reducing work hours.

Butt Joint Type: Features & How it works

The part is a mitered butt joint, connected at 90 degrees at the corner.
Available in a great variety for crown molding, chair railing and baseboards.
Internal & external corners are available in flat or vertical types.

It gives soft rounding effects to the corners.

“Quarter circle butt joint type” having matching designs with Sunmento moldings. By giving roundness to the corners, the room will exude a softer ambiance. It will eliminate troublesome onsite work on external/internal corners for a quick and beautiful installation.
